Can I switch to a different cellular carrier other than AT&T?

As AT&T continues their attack on free speech in America, I would like to switch cellular carriers. Any other option would be fine, just not AT&T.

When calling OnStar for navigation will the directions show up on the heads up display? Also does the OnStar give the option to reroute for traffic?
