MyGMC app not updating vehicle status since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal a week ago.
I have a 2024 Sierra 1500 and my vehicle status has not changed since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal in my truck 7 days ago. I don't know if there are any similarities but the vehicle stopped updating after the refresh. I have already done the power cycle of the truck (run for 2 minutes...off for at least 2 min...sign out of the MyGMC app and back in...have also uninstalled and reinstalled several times). I also have another vehicle in the app and it is updating just fine. The link seems to be the truck but not sure.

My issues were resolved this past week. I called OnStar, and they couldn't connect remotely to my GMC Sierra. During my next service, I had GMC check it. They replaced one of the many computer modules, and now it is working.

Same issue with my 2024 Traverse. Vehicle status hasn’t updated since I purchased the vehicle 8 months ago. Remote start and other features work.

I have a 2025 Silverado that has not connected in 3 months I just noticed when I went to check the status out of the blue. I sent advisor_jack a message. I tried the power cycle method listed along with deleting the app multiple times. Idk if anyone has any helpful insights.

Having the same exact issue. App shows hasn’t updated in 30 days. I’ve deleted my profile, the app, BT Connection and re-done all, but no luck.

My 2023 preowned Terrain is doing the same thing. Had to call for OnStar to refresh the wifi hot spot and that was the last time the app "Synced" with the vehicle. All other features work, although, when I remote start the vehicle and I get in, the timer on the remote start on the app keeps counting down. In the remote access page on the settings screen in the car doesn't show my phone as having remote access even though I have the remote features.

I as well have issues with the App not updating. It tells me that the last update for the mileage was 3 Months ago and that I have 42% of fuel. I filled up today, so it should say 100% and the mileage is about 4000 miles off from the current mileage. I am able to use the Start, Unlock and Lock features, but nothing else works. I have reset the App, unloaded it and reloaded it and nothing seems to fix it.

I was just out today after not moving my vehicle for about a month and my app didn’t update after my trip today, the app is really bad when it come to to contacting the vehicle when you drive as it said it would. Really poor service

My Gm app stopped updating in June. So we all should get credited. I pay by the year. 4 months have passed without the app working correctly. I've done all the unload and reload and nothing happened, so what next? I uninstalled all the app and reinstalled it and nothing.

I have had a heck of a time with mine. Contacted onstar and completed all the “fixes” but nothing worked. Twice onstar support “refreshed “ my software and it updated but that was it, still frozen since their last attempt. The controls work fine but vehicle status doesn’t update.
