MyChevrolet App Vehicle Status/Info Not Updating
My vehicle status, i.e. tire pressure, fuel level, miles, trip info, etc., has not updated in over 3 weeks. I've deleted/reinstalled the app, had a new signal sent, all of the things I've been recommended to try. None of these have worked. Please help!16KViews6likes124CommentsI am unable to link my OnStar account to MyChevy account.
We got a 26 Trailblazer yesterday and activated our OnStar account. We have 8 years free of the MyChevy app features (remote start, location, mileage, etc) and a 2 month trial of OnStar. When I open MyChevy app, it is still prompting me to push the OnStar button to activate. It shows in the vehicle status that there is no OnStar account linked. When I go to link my existing account to MyChevy, the page is blank. I've tried through the app, mobile browser, and home computer and have the same issue. I called OnStar and they couldn't help. She said she escalated it, but provided no time frame on when I'd hear back. Despite all this the wifi works, but we have no access to the features of the MyChevy app. Hoping for some guidance since phone representatives have not provided any resolution.359Views0likes10CommentsClimate control removed from app?!
When i purchased my truck a few weeks ago (2025 Silverado 1500 RST) I was able to set my climate temperature remotely from the app but it disappeared within the last week and there seems to be no resolution? I have followed the troubleshooting steps of uninstalling and reinstalling the app logging out, logging back in resetting the infotainment head unit. Everything else seems to be working as it should except that feature now instead of showing the option to set temperature. It just shows me a timer until my truck shuts off after remote starting.1.4KViews1like20CommentsCorvette C8 2020 can't clear Air Filter notification in the App.
My 2020 C8 Corvette do not have the air filter life monitor in the DIC. The earlier models did not come with that feature. I am getting the 0% warning in the MyChevrolet app which can not be reset manually from the car because the function is not there. The chevy dealership could not location a method to reset it in the car. They tried resetting the car's computer with no luck. How do I reset this persistent message in the app?154Views0likes6CommentsMyChevrolet App makes it awfully easy to unintentionally Remote Start your vehicle
About a year ago when I got my 2025 Equinox and installed and played around with the MyChevrolet App, to send the signal to do a Remote Start, the app made you hold your finger on the screen button for a few seconds. This was good, I think. Now, with later versions of the App, a simple press, even accidental, sends the signal to start the vehicle. No prompt to clarify "Do you really want to start the vehicle". This is bad. The Unlock and open tailgate remote functions also now work this way. The other day, I came home from being at a neighbors house to find my Equinox idling away in the driveway. Bad, please change the App.20Views0likes1CommentWidgets Missing Android
The widgets for the my chevy app to start the car, unlock and lock are missing. I still have two old widgets one to unlock the car and one to start the car. The unlock widget still works. The start widget says "App Disabled". Using an Samsung S24. Has the widgets been discontinued?11Views0likes1CommentMy GMC app.
Has anybody actually had their OnStar app work right after they’ve contacted OnStar about the issues with the app. I’ve owned a truck for over a year and it hasn’t worked right since day one. I’ve contacted OnStar no less than six times and every time they run a diagnostic, it’ll work for two days or less and then you just get tired of it,as of right now my app has been down for 25 days again and I’m just kind of giving up on it. It is a good app when it works. It just doesn’t never work.198Views0likes5CommentsMy GMC App
My GMC app has not worked for a week since I purchased the vehicle. I have done all of the reset steps and have uninstalled and reinstalled the application at least five times now. I have logged out, logged back in and nothing. I have heard having a signal sent to my vehicle will fix the issue. Can you please send a signal to my vehicle. Thank you.Solved232Views0likes3CommentsApp controls keep failing
A bit frusterated as a bought a 2022 Yukon Denali with 36000 miles less than three weeks ago. I have had nothing but problems and countless phone calls with onstar. Have tried endless amount of troubleshooting and finally referred to dealership. None of the control functions (remote start, lock, unlock, etc) will work on my app. They will continue to spin and then fail. Very disappointed as the vehicle is not old and low miles, as well as I just got the vehicle. The vehicle stats (gas, oil life, etc) will not update either. Anyone else have this issue?69Views0likes1Comment
