Missing Remote Climate Control Feature in GM Vehicles with Google Built-In
I recently purchased a 25 Chevy Equinox. However, I was surprised to find that the remote climate control feature—specifically the ability to set the interior temperature from the mobile app before starting the car—is no longer available. After contacting an OnStar advisor, I was informed that this feature has been removed for GM vehicles with Google Built-In. This is a handy feature, especially in extreme weather conditions, and was one of the reasons I purchased a GM vehicle. This change has negatively impacted the overall convenience and functionality of the app experience for me.Solved121Views0likes3CommentsMyGMC app not updating vehicle status since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal a week ago.
I have a 2024 Sierra 1500 and my vehicle status has not changed since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal in my truck 7 days ago. I don't know if there are any similarities but the vehicle stopped updating after the refresh. I have already done the power cycle of the truck (run for 2 minutes...off for at least 2 min...sign out of the MyGMC app and back in...have also uninstalled and reinstalled several times). I also have another vehicle in the app and it is updating just fine. The link seems to be the truck but not sure.9.9KViews3likes23CommentsMy GMC App
My GMC app has not worked for a week since I purchased the vehicle. I have done all of the reset steps and have uninstalled and reinstalled the application at least five times now. I have logged out, logged back in and nothing. I have heard having a signal sent to my vehicle will fix the issue. Can you please send a signal to my vehicle. Thank you.Solved19Views0likes1CommentMobile app
The new mychevrolet mobile app leaves alot to be desired. I no longer get important updates of EV power status. The oil level graph is of no use since oil changes are only once a year, but no graph for EV power which i check daily. But my main concern is that the app always shows what the status was 7 days ago regardless of the actual fuel and electrical charge. So it's not updating in real-time when requested. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times without any success. I had a similar problem with the previous app where my location wasn't updating. Is this an onstar issue?24Views0likes1CommentEV features removed from app
I have a 2015 Volt and myChevrolet app no longer shows EV detail on the app. This includes charging status, range, charging options, etc. Also, the "vehicle status" detail that is shown is from 16 months ago (Dec 2023). All of this functionality worked fine a few days ago. I loaded and reloaded the app on multiple devices and they are all the same.546Views3likes33CommentsMyChevrolet Status not Updating
My 2024 Suburban is not updating after the newest update. It’s been 30 days since its sync’d. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Signed in and not as well as doing the steps below. Nothing has worked. Turn ignition on for at least 2 minutes Turn ignition off and wait 2-5 minutes (so data can be collected) Log out of the myChevrolet app and log back in - this may help the app refresh If the concern is still not resolved, please wait 2-3 minutes and refresh the app again, as the status can take a few minutes to update Drive the vehicle around for a few minutes to allow data to refresh on the appSolved152Views2likes4CommentsMyGMC Trailer Light Test
My GMC trailer light test functionality appears to have been removed or lost in the most recent update of the app - March 2025. I use this feature frequently. I called OnStar support today 3/9/2025 and they seemed confused regarding this trailer light testing feature. How do I get this trailer light test functionality restored in the app?844Views5likes29CommentsMyChevrolet App Vehicle Status/Info Not Updating
My vehicle status, i.e. tire pressure, fuel level, miles, trip info, etc., has not updated in over 3 weeks. I've deleted/reinstalled the app, had a new signal sent, all of the things I've been recommended to try. None of these have worked. Please help!7.9KViews2likes27Comments
