Location Alerts Stopped Working After Renewing OnStar Plan
I have a 2017 Buick Encore. The location alerts had worked without fail for as long as I can remember. That stopped a couple of months ago, around the same time that I renwed my OnStar plan. The plan I had was no longer offered so I selected OnStar Connect. Ever since, no alerts. I have checked that notifications are on, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I have 5 locations listed for alerts. I cannot get alerts to work. Location is working in the app. I can pull up the map and see my car and my phone locations. Any suggestions?0likes1CommentAlexa skill for My Chevrolet no longer available
I use a routine on my Alexa device to open my garage door and start my vehicle daily while getting ready to leave for work. Within the last week, I noticed that I wasn't getting prompted for my PIN to start my vehicle, and getting a message from Alexa that it couldn't connect to My Chevrolet. This has happened before and I would just have to re-link my account in the Alexa app. When I tried to do that, it appears that the My Chevrolet skill is no longer available on Alexa. We got a 26 Trailblazer yesterday and activated our OnStar account. We have 8 years free of the MyChevy app features (remote start, location, mileage, etc) and a 2 month trial of OnStar. When I open MyChevy app, it is still prompting me to push the OnStar button to activate. It shows in the vehicle status that there is no OnStar account linked. When I go to link my existing account to MyChevy, the page is blank. I've tried through the app, mobile browser, and home computer and have the same issue. I called OnStar and they couldn't help. She said she escalated it, but provided no time frame on when I'd hear back. Despite all this the wifi works, but we have no access to the features of the MyChevy app. Hoping for some guidance since phone representatives have not provided any resolution.0likes22CommentsMy Buick App Location Not Working
My Buick app is not working for location services. I’ve followed all the directions, including ensuring that the locations in the car and phone are turned on. I’ve also removed the app, reinstalled it, deleted the locations, and then added them back. I’m at a loss and need help. Case number 80545225 This issue has been going on since Aug 2025 when I first contacted OnStar. My app showed the wrong picture of my truck and also on the dash. When you send my monthly updates to my email the picture is correct! I was instructed on Sept 3 to send pictures of the vin of my truck, also photo of my dash and photo of app and photo of my monthly updates. I sent all this info to you and received a phone call from some lady stating that you know there is an issue and still working on it. When I fist took delivery of my truck the picture on the dash and app were correct. About a month later it changed to the incorrect pictures. Why is this taking so long to correct? Are you just blowing me off? All the other info vin, oil life etc. seam to be correct, but how do I know for sure? If I need assistance such as an accident or such are you looking at my truck! I'm getting ready to turn this matter over to consumer affairs and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Hello, Has anyone else encountered the following issues with 2019 XT4 (Premium Luxury)?: -In-Vehicle Music app stops working when setting favorites through MyCadillac App (iOS). App will not open causing the radio to crash. -CUE system resets when temps are below 50*F or above 95*F; causes radio, Bluetooth, and streaming inputs to all play at once. Shuts down HUD and A/C controls. -Apps constantly displaying error "No Network" when subscribed to App Access and In-Vehicle App Access Plans? I've had this vehicle for 2 years now and have had 4 radio/CUE system replacements and still encountering these. Cameras are working fine after last radio/CUE replacements. Hello, I have a 2024 Chevy Colorado. For awhile the MyChevrolet app showed the image of how my Truck looked. However, now it just shows a generic image. I know it's picky, it's just odd, the OnStar diagnostic emails show the proper image. Other GM websites/apps show the correct CGI image, just not the MyChevrolet app For clarity the image it shows currently doesn't have all the factory options. However it used to show my specific trim, wheels, fender flares, etc. All would have been because of certain option codes associated with the vehicle. I have already updated the app, tried clearing the cache, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, logging out and back in. I even tried using the MyGMC and MyCadillac apps, both showed the same issue. Nothing seems to bring back the correct vehicle image Just curious if there is a fix or if something needs to be refreshed in the backend systems.0likes3Comments
