Previously supported Remote Start removed from MyChevy App
I have a 2016 Express Van equipped with remote start that I’ve owned since new. Whether it was the older OnStar app or the MyChevrolet app, remote start through the app (since it was an app feature) has worked for years. Recently the in-app Start button disappeared. When I called OnStar they said that my VIN doesn’t have remote start, despite it being equipped from the factory that way. My belief is that someone at either Chevy or OnStar made a change to the VIN reference feature tables. Since OnStar uses VIN tables to determine which features are enabled in the app, this effectively Nerfs a feature that was factory equipped. I have an appropriate plan, I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app, and did an OnStar vehicle update… so the problem isn’t the van or my plan. The problem is the feature list OnStar and the MyChevrolet app is referencing on their end.Chevy app commands not working
My Chevy app commands do not work. I have a 2026 Chevy Traverse LT. I have live chatted customer service and have done all the necessary reinstallation’s and deletions. I have done any sort of trouble shooting they have told me to do and nothing. I have even called and still nothing. Every time I try to send a command it takes a while to send then ultimately fails and says “Failed to reach traverse”. It has been happening ever since the purchase of the vehicle.Location notifications not working
I am no longer receiving location services alerts on my Chevrolet app. This was working and it has since stopped. I followed steps to troubleshoot and tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing. Hello, I have a 2024 Chevy Colorado. For awhile the MyChevrolet app showed the image of how my Truck looked. However, now it just shows a generic image. I know it's picky, it's just odd, the OnStar diagnostic emails show the proper image. Other GM websites/apps show the correct CGI image, just not the MyChevrolet app For clarity the image it shows currently doesn't have all the factory options. However it used to show my specific trim, wheels, fender flares, etc. All would have been because of certain option codes associated with the vehicle. I have already updated the app, tried clearing the cache, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, logging out and back in. I even tried using the MyGMC and MyCadillac apps, both showed the same issue. Nothing seems to bring back the correct vehicle image Just curious if there is a fix or if something needs to be refreshed in the backend systems.MyChevrolet App Vehicle Status/Info Not Updating
My vehicle status, i.e. tire pressure, fuel level, miles, trip info, etc., has not updated in over 3 weeks. I've deleted/reinstalled the app, had a new signal sent, all of the things I've been recommended to try. None of these have worked. Please help!App is not updating
My app hasn’t updated for 2 days now. It hasn’t changed the fuel level, miles, and tire pressure levels. Only thing working is my remote start and locking and unlocking of doors. I have already restarted my phone, uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, logged out and logged in, checked to see if my phone needed an update, and checked to make sure my onstar account was still active. What is going wrong with the app connecting to my vehicle????Climate Control Feature - 2025 GMC Sierra 1500
Hey everyone, Looking to see if anyone else is running into this. I have a 2025 GMC Sierra, and for the past few months my myGMC app no longer shows the climate control option. I used to be able to pre-heat/cool the truck remotely with no issues, and then the feature just disappeared one day. It hasn’t come back since. I contacted OnStar online support, but they weren’t any help—they just gave generic troubleshooting steps that didn’t fix anything. Has anyone else had this happen? Did you find a workaround or get it restored somehow? Appreciate any insight.
