I am unable to link my OnStar account to MyChevy account.
We got a 26 Trailblazer yesterday and activated our OnStar account. We have 8 years free of the MyChevy app features (remote start, location, mileage, etc) and a 2 month trial of OnStar. When I open MyChevy app, it is still prompting me to push the OnStar button to activate. It shows in the vehicle status that there is no OnStar account linked. When I go to link my existing account to MyChevy, the page is blank. I've tried through the app, mobile browser, and home computer and have the same issue. I called OnStar and they couldn't help. She said she escalated it, but provided no time frame on when I'd hear back. Despite all this the wifi works, but we have no access to the features of the MyChevy app. Hoping for some guidance since phone representatives have not provided any resolution.Chevy traverse 2025 no longer connecting to app even after modular replacement
I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but I just recently changed the module for my OnStar in the vehicle and brought it home and it will not even update the map or connect to perform unlock or remote start.MyChevrolet App shows Generic Image of Vehicle
Hello, I have a 2024 Chevy Colorado. For awhile the MyChevrolet app showed the image of how my Truck looked. However, now it just shows a generic image. I know it's picky, it's just odd, the OnStar diagnostic emails show the proper image. Other GM websites/apps show the correct CGI image, just not the MyChevrolet app For clarity the image it shows currently doesn't have all the factory options. However it used to show my specific trim, wheels, fender flares, etc. All would have been because of certain option codes associated with the vehicle. I have already updated the app, tried clearing the cache, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, logging out and back in. I even tried using the MyGMC and MyCadillac apps, both showed the same issue. Nothing seems to bring back the correct vehicle image Just curious if there is a fix or if something needs to be refreshed in the backend systems.Connection Issues
I purchased my 2025 Equinox October 2024. I had no issues until about two months ago. Every command would fail. My Chevy app would not work to turn on the vehicle, lock/unlock the doors, and would not link with the milage/fuel in the car. Spoke to OnStar they could not connect to my vehicle and said I had to take my vehicle in to get looked at. Took it in to the dealership, they had to replace the module. Everything was working great until a few days ago. The app shows it’s connected to my vehicle but commands started to fail again. I spoke to OnStar again they said they could not connect to my vehicle and would need to go back to the dealership.Climate Control Feature - 2025 GMC Sierra 1500
Hey everyone, Looking to see if anyone else is running into this. I have a 2025 GMC Sierra, and for the past few months my myGMC app no longer shows the climate control option. I used to be able to pre-heat/cool the truck remotely with no issues, and then the feature just disappeared one day. It hasn’t come back since. I contacted OnStar online support, but they weren’t any help—they just gave generic troubleshooting steps that didn’t fix anything. Has anyone else had this happen? Did you find a workaround or get it restored somehow? Appreciate any insight.Unable to connect the my Chevy app.
I have not been able to get my chevy app to connect to my equinox.I have tried everything very frustrating when I am supposed to have 8 years to use commands etc. It looks like after reading everyone's else's is having the same problem and OnStar doesn't know how to fix it. My vehicle status, i.e. tire pressure, fuel level, miles, trip info, etc., has not updated in over 3 weeks. I've deleted/reinstalled the app, had a new signal sent, all of the things I've been recommended to try. None of these have worked. Please help!Climate control removed from app?!
When i purchased my truck a few weeks ago (2025 Silverado 1500 RST) I was able to set my climate temperature remotely from the app but it disappeared within the last week and there seems to be no resolution? I have followed the troubleshooting steps of uninstalling and reinstalling the app logging out, logging back in resetting the infotainment head unit. Everything else seems to be working as it should except that feature now instead of showing the option to set temperature. It just shows me a timer until my truck shuts off after remote starting.
