MYGMC Sierra Crewcab

My GMC Sierra has a button on each exterior front door handle that is supposed to Lock & Unlock the doors. It still does Lock the doors and while pressing it to unlock, it blinks the lights, but, does not unlock the doors. However the button on my FOB does unlock them. Is this a setting somewhere???   Thanks  **bleep** McNemar
