Chevrolet App

I feel like my Chevrolet app doses not work as well as the previous app. Woth my 2016 Equinox I could get to the app start my car and it would be warmed up when I got out to it. Now It takes an extremely long time for the app to open then when I press and hold the start key the response is very slow to return and then when I get out to the car it probably has not started. Just very slow compared to every other app on my phone and very iffy if it will work. Yes I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times. Any ideas Thought I had it solved by locking first then starting but that takes twice as long and does not always work either. The old app when I first started with a Chevrolet app was much more user friendly.
