Just took home a EV Equinox 2024, dealer showed me how you can check charging status with APP (fantastic idea!), however it doesn’t refresh. I’ve tried holding it and tapping went over 24 hours and it never refreshes. I’ve in installed and re installed. The only way I can get it to re-sync to the vehicle is to sign out and sign back it- but that can’t be right I never signed out with my Silverado. I dont want to have to walk out to the car to check the charge, Please help!

Congratulations on your new vehicle purchase. If you have already attempted to uninstall and reinstall the mobile app from your device, we do recommend completing a Power Cycle to update your Vehicle Status information. This should assist in ensuring any diagnostics are accurate. To proceed, please see the below steps:
1. Turn ignition on for at least 2 minutes
2. Turn ignition off and wait 2-5 minutes (so data can be collected)
3. Log out of the myChevrolet app and log back in - this may help the app refresh
4. If the concern is still not resolved, please wait 2-3 minutes and refresh the app again, as the status can take a few minutes to update
5. Drive the vehicle around for a few minutes to allow data to refresh on the app
