I have a 2021 Tahoe. I recently started getting the message "Service Transmission. Unable to shift soon." I have contacted my dealership, but they can't get me in for over 6 weeks. I have been in touch with another dealership and they are trying to get me in before that. Problem is no one can give me any information. I'm under the 60,000 miles for my Power Train Warranty, but everyone says they can't tell me if any of this is covered until diagnostics is ran. I'm being told that if I go to a transmission shop, it will void my warranty. So my current option is to drive to failure.
Has anyone else been getting this message? What was the problem? Did your warranty cover the repair?
