I ahve a 2023 Chevy Tahoe RST and the on star module has failed. There has been no connection since 8/31/24. The dealer has said it is on backorder and no ETA when a new part will arrive. Has anyone even had their on star module replaced if having similar issue? This is very concerning and upsetting as I pay for the subscription and have also paid an annual subscription for wifi that doesn't work. The clocks in my vehicle are all off and am not getting full functionality of the vehicle I paid top dollar for. The car wouldn't start a week ago because it was sending low voltage signals to every system because of the faulty module. Luckily the dealer got it operational again but said they can't just disconnect it because that would cause too many issues. Very very frustrated here....

Same thing happened to me last week.... 2023 Tahoe LT... 36.4k miles. Dealer telling me its out of my warranty and $850 to fix. Pathetic.. I am also paying for a plan. This is outrageous that I would have to pay for this considering it has NOTHING to do with the miles on my engine. My clocks are off, my compass is not working. How on earth is that something that fails on a 2023 vehicle. The dealer also said its been happening more and more. I am waiting to hear back from GM to see if they can pay for the repair. I own 3 GM vehicles and honestly if they don't make this right I am going to get rid of all 3 and move on to a different company

Just found out today I have the same problem on a 2023 suburban. Had noticed the wifi wasn't working, the light by the OnStar button wasn't on, and also how the clocks were off time. Took it to the dealership and they say not only is it a repair I'll have to pay for, but they don't know when they'll get the module to correct it. Very frustrating!

Same issue here. 2023 sierra denali, over the 36000 mile warranty, but only a year and a half old. An $80k truck that now doesn't have GPS or any of the fancy technology working that it's suppose to have. Oh, and I'm suppose to fork out $750 to fix/replace a module that many are having issues with. How is this not a recall or free replacement part. What's the point in buying a brand new truck if it breaks next year. There's no reliability on new vehicles anymore. And so much for safety - if there's an emergency, Onstar and/or the SOS button won't do anything...
