There is nothing Onstar will or can do, what you guys needs to do is pay for these modules that are broken or else Chevrolet and Onstar will suffer in sales!

Rewrite Hello everyone so I have a 2024 Tahoe and our Wi-Fi we bought the unlimited package has been working in a mentally but within the last few months it is not my workaround is actually kind of complicated but if you have a similar issue try and follow along if your phone is automatically connecting via hot Android auto try and disconnect that and connect to the other Wi-Fi module there's two Wi-Fi that the car gives off the Android auto and the regular Wi-Fi and connect to that one make sure you stop the Android auto from automatically starting so it doesn't take over forget the Android auto Wi-Fi forget it within the Wi-Fi details and then you can connect to the regular Wi-Fi and your Wi-Fi should be working this is how I've been using it for the past couple months but I think they pushed out an update where I can no longer use it.
Also does anyone have a entertainment system in their back seats I can tell you that the car is getting data connection to run the back entertainment system of Hulu YouTube my audible all those things are running with data but the Wi-Fi is an issue

2023 Chevy Tahoe Premium purchased March of 2025 with ruffly 50k miles. April of 2025 got the epic transmission valve failure curse so had to have the transmission replaced (Extended warranty covered). Got the vehicle back in May of 2025 & ironically the GPS & Onstar suddenly not working, Telematics module went bad just sitting waiting on a transmission!!!! 5 months late plus $1150 big ones out of pocket and my telematics module finally arrives…. Once installed (last week) I’m told I only have a 12 month warranty on the part, imaging that!!!!
I’m definitely hoping for a class action suit!!!!

Yes these vehicles are trash! I have a 2025 Terrain and the accelerator is now sticking. At fist i thought it may have been something I did but nope. It is now doing it more often. Was in the shop for a on star module for a month. Who knows how long they will have to keep it. This is a mess. Regretting this very costly purchase!

Wow! I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm so regretful of my decision which is similar to yours. Purchased a 2023 Buick Envision in March of 2025 with about 49k miles. I did not buy an extended warranty. Two-ish weeks post purchase the check engine light came on and it's a few months worth of story but cutting to the chase, I replaced the Telematics Module. Interestingly, my warranty is two years. I wonder if that is dealer specific. Mine was done at a dealer in Torrance, California.

Transmission valve failure occurred at 60,900 miles and the Chevy warranty expired at 60k so had to use extended warranty. The extended warranty I purchased did not cover the module.

I am in this same boat with a 24 Lyriq. Been to 2 dealers, it sat at then for almost 2 months. They replaced the GPS antenna and it worked for a while then the dreaded "Service Emergency Calling". The GPS works intermittently. There doesn't seem to be much pressure on GM to resolve the issue.
I believe that "Service Emergency Calling" is potentially a safety issue. I don't want to lemon law the car is a dealer screwed me once, that needed a lawyer to sort out. It was still a losing issue for me.

Hi everyone, this is also happening to us with our 2025 enclave. It has to be jumped twice this weekend, and then we were told the on star module had drained the entire car battery to the point it will no longer turn on. We purchased this car brand new just months ago.

After you repair the battery, remember to check whether your Onstar module is still working properly and whether the blue light is still on.

My GPS worked for 7 months on my new 2025 Equinox EV. A second dealer finally ordered a new unit, but I got the same message as the rest of you--on backorder. I was told I was LUCKY the rest of my car works! I buy a new car so I don't have to sit in the dealership waiting for parts. I have to say I never had this problem with any other brand of car. I'm going back to Toyota when I can get out of this deal. Has anybody checked out Toyota's hydrogen car that uses water?

Called BUICK directly but it’s actually General Motors Customer Care and filed the safety complaint with them
Spoke with Sophia. I have a case number and they said a regional representative will contact me… I informed Sophia two complaints have been filed with NHTSA and FTC. She said I wasn’t the first she heard of this issue and they are documenting ALL CALLS… so call that number, have your VIN # ready and file your complaints. Remember the number I called is actually GM Customer Care…

Newest report filed with Federal Trade Commission
it is fraudulent and unfair practice to communicate that it is safe to drive vehicles that have the potential of shutting down on a consumer mid drive because of the Telematics Module malfunction. The module is a defect and should be replaced at NO COST to the consumer. Demand a SAFETY RECALL.
