class action lawsuit OnStar module backorder
I bought a2025 Equinox in May of 2025 in December my on start modular went out I had to wait over a 3 weeks for them to get the part, my vehicle 0 or my battery was being drained by the on start modular, they finally gave me a EV Equinox which I specifically requested a had vehicle, I am not a tech savvy person. I could drive for more then 3 hours on this vehicle with out having to go charge it, I missed dr's appointments, regular day to day activities due to the stress of being forced into a vehicle I didn't know how to work. GM finally contacted me and offered a minut compensation for my inconvenience and I am not satisfied with the outcome they should have done more and I for one can day, they have lost a customer after my lease is up.
They knew about the problem and ignored it then acted dumb when people were bringing there vehicles in I spoke to a worker that explained to me all the parts were on back order because so many customers are having the same issue and there is still not a Recall, My vehicle JUST DIED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD! Thankfully I had nobody behind me to rear-end me at the time!
THIS NEEDS A RECALL BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT!
