Onstar Button not working
Bought a new to me 2025 Traverse, the Onstar button has no light on it and nothing happens when any of the buttons are pushed. I have disconnected the battery to try to get it to reset and that did not work. Any ideas on what is going on or how to fix it?

Going through the same thing with my 2024 GMC Acadia. Sent it to the dealership and says it is telematic control module (Navigation Module) that needs to be replaced.

it'll be the onstar telematics control module.....and no the extneded warranty won't cover it, yes they know they do updates that apparently fry these every few months. ....
You would think people paying for the onstar service could at least have their crap equipment work- Advisor_CharlyModerator

I had my 23 Silverado LTZ updated which did nothing to make the OnStar module work. Dealership quoted me 880 bucks to have it replaced. I’ve tried to order it but you can’t. This is ridiculous we have to pay for a module that doesn’t work in order to pay GM to have features of the car work. You’d think since we have to pay for the service they’d want to fix it for us
