When using Super Cruise,™¹ Automatic Lane Change can steer the vehicle to perform a single lane change. For example, if enabled, the system can pass a slower vehicle in its lane, change lanes if the current lane is ending or change lanes to provide space for vehicles merging from an ending lane. A message appears on the driver information center to offer more information on the status of the maneuver.
