OnStar Remote Access Plan no longer renewable?
i received an email about 3 weeks ago stating my Remote Access plan for my 2022 GMC is expiring at the end of March, and asking me to renew. Today, i attempted to do that, but when i click the "Renew Plan" button on the email, it takes me to the 'My Plans' web page for my account. i see the Remote Access plan description there, but no way to actually renew it. i chatted with an OnStar rep, from whom i gather that this plan is 'no longer available', and that i would have to get the 'Connect' plan (an additional $45/year) instead. I only got Remote Connect for the remote command functionality. i don't need the other things that i already get via my phone. So $45 more is not a huge issue, it bothers me more to pay for the things i don't want, and it bothers me more that OnStar promised me one thing in the email, and then switched to something else without any notification. just a bad customer experience.2.7KViews3likes11CommentsOnStar One Plan bait and switch
Anyone else get a notice that their legacy OnStar plan(Essentials) is expiring and they need to choose a new plan? I received the expiration email and when I went to OnStar it showed the OnStar One Plan at $34.99/month or $349 per year. When I clicked on the details, the pricing went up to $49.99/month or $499/year! I connected with an OnStar customer service advisor (Jolien) who spent 25 minutes was wasting my time and saying ‘so you’re wanting the $49.99 per month plan’, even though I told Jolien that I was trying to figure out the pricing discrepancy ($349 vs $499). As a 10 year customer, this has been the most frustrating (lack of) customer service experience with GM and OnStar. Refund of payments and nothing but run around and no refund
I have since september of this year had Onstar take 315.24 out of my checking account and over draft it everytime. I have called and called and called and all I get it oh Im sorry don't know how that is happening. It shows in my transactions on the site that 3 checks have been issued but nope no check has been received. I finally after multiple calls, I had to call my bank and be charged to make sure that Onstar takes no more money. So I am charged to make sure they take no more money out, I haven't received 3 refunds of anything, tells me it takes 30 days well it is well over the 30 days from the last one and still nothing. I am tired of this BS, I guess I have to take legal action as you guys have caused my account to sit in the negative as I wasn't a subscriber and you managed to take money out of my account as I didn't budget for something I didn't have and only offer me 2 free months. Is there any way to get my refund faster now that I have had 3 times and no refunds and removed my bank information cause you guys have ruined my account and added in a different card. What do I need to do to get my money back not 30 days from now, I want it back immediately, it took you seconds to take it out. I hope you guys aren't screwing anyone else out. but it's hard when I am a student and single mom to understand why you think this is ok, I can't afford it. I want my money back now. I call and get the BS spill of oh it is coming and oh i will check into it and call you back. My 2019 Chevrolet is my 6th consecutive Suburban, I have put a lot of miles on these cars and have never really had any need for most of the features provided by OnStar. I don't have any need for Music, Podcasts, Audiobooks, News, or Voice Assistant, but the idea of "Remote Access" (The ability to unlock or locate the car or disable my vehicle if stolen, is something I would be interested in purchasing if it would be reasonably priced. If you made these offerings available "a la carte" you may find there are many folks interested in these offerings Thanks Scott367Views2likes7CommentsOnStar Scammed
Please explain to me like I'm a 5th grader how updating a credit card, keeps me from continuing my Wifi plan I've had since 22, rep told me your card was updated on the 31st and when ATT tried to run it on the 1st it didn't work, your only option now is too going to a higher plan........I wish I was BSing but has GM and OnStar resorted to bate and switch to get folks onto higher plans ???295Views3likes7Comments- 663Views0likes5Comments
vehicle location feature
Hello, I would like to know which plan includes this feature and if it's possible to locate the vehicle without having to use the mobile app. Specifically, if I can locate the vehicle using a web site. The vehicle in question is a 25 Buick Enclave. ThanksSolved980Views0likes5Comments
