Service Driver Assist System

I have a brand new 2025 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate 6.2L. When  I reached 1k miles, the service driver assist system started popping up on my dashboard. I’ve been to the dealer twice about this issue. The first visit, they informed me they couldn’t do anything because no codes were coming up on their reader. It kept happening and then said something about the front camera blocked. The second visit to the dealer, they installed a new camera and the next day the same issue continued to pop up on my dashboard about servicing driver assist system. I spent too much money on this vehicle as I’m trying to give them the opportunity to do the right thing because I’m not gonna keep paying on this vehicle and dealing with these issues. This should not be happening

I feel your pain and frustration, bought new with 25 miles and On star didn’t work from the beginning, should have asked for my money back and my 2016 Tahoe that had no issues or problems and bought a different brand

No I have the vehicle parked as I feel it’s not safe to drive. I’ve been told they ordered a Telematics Module Control and said it’s coming from Michigan. No exact date when it will be here, no courtesy vehicle to drive in the meantime but still having to make payments to GM financial and this is my only vehicle.

I totally feel your pain. I have a 2024 6.2 L Denali ultimate as well. I’ve had nothing but trouble with the service drivers system since I drove my truck off the lot. I have had a numerous times they’re never able to duplicate it, but when I drive it down the road all of a sudden the screen will start flashing on and off service driver system now the vehicle is out of its warranty. I have contacted GM customer service and they have had the gall to tell me to take it back to the dealership when the condition is occurring the problem is as soon as you turn the vehicle off it recycles and the condition isn’t there. You have to drive it for a while for it to be to occur there’s nothing more than a big bait and switch. I have $100,000 truck but I can’t use a super cruise on or a cruise control when this condition is occurring.

Exactly. All they do is waste your time. I’m kept taking mine back to the dealer(GLYNN SMITH GMC) and they don’t even know what’s wrong. Service manager was very rude several times with me and upset because they know I’m not taking no bs about the vehicle. I recommend you getting a lemon law attorney and keep all your service records about this issue. What’s crazy to me is they try act dumb about the matter. It’s soooooooo many customers out here having these same issues. I hope GM gets everything they In deserving of very soon…

After 5 or 6 service appointments for the same issue (started in August 2025 with only a couple hundred miles) the dealership provided this information: It is a known issue. GM does not have a repair or correction as of January 9, 2026. There is a Service Bulletin, Preliminary Information - Technical. PIT6455. If there is a resolution, PIT6455 will become a TSB with instructions for the “fix”.

Thank you for bringing this to our teams' attention. We truly recognize the impact that multiple dealership visits for ongoing concerns can create, and this is never the type of pf experience we wish for you to have. While we are glad to know you have been in close communication with your preferred dealership, we understand how difficult it can be to hear of this wait time in a repair matter. Please know, we do have full trust in our GM certified dealership teams as they are able to use their technical training efficiently. Please know, if you currently have any other questions or concerns at this time you may send us a private message to Onstar_Support.
