On Star Telematics Module 2025

I recently purchased a brand-new vehicle with only seven miles on it, aside from a brief screen blackout while driving on the highway. However, I have encountered a significant issue where the GPS and all other electronic components have suddenly ceased functioning. This poses a serious safety concern, especially considering the vehicle’s intended purpose of minimizing texting while driving and other potential hazards.

As a result, I am unable to ensure my safety without relying on over-the-air (OTA) updates or any other safety-enhancing features. The connection to the My Chevy app has been severed, leaving me uncertain about the availability of a genuine solution. This situation is highly disappointing, as it contradicts the manufacturer’s goal of providing a technologically advanced vehicle. The intended purpose of the vehicle is to offer a cutting-edge driving experience, but it is currently inoperable as an electric vehicle. Hey, wouldn’t it be great if they could just set up a workaround for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto while they sort out the problem?

At this time, have you brought your vehicle back to your dealer for a diagnosis? This will be the first step to determine if it is truly your OnStar telematics module that is causing the OnStar components of the vehicle to malfunction.
