MyGMC Trailer Light Test
My GMC trailer light test functionality appears to have been removed or lost in the most recent update of the app - March 2025. I use this feature frequently. I called OnStar support today 3/9/2025 and they seemed confused regarding this trailer light testing feature. How do I get this trailer light test functionality restored in the app?MyGMC app not updating vehicle status since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal a week ago.
I have a 2024 Sierra 1500 and my vehicle status has not changed since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal in my truck 7 days ago. I don't know if there are any similarities but the vehicle stopped updating after the refresh. I have already done the power cycle of the truck (run for 2 minutes...off for at least 2 min...sign out of the MyGMC app and back in...have also uninstalled and reinstalled several times). I also have another vehicle in the app and it is updating just fine. The link seems to be the truck but not sure.My GMC app isn't working after last update 18/2/2025
My GMC app isn't working after last update 18/2/2025, so after you open the app the sign in shows up and i put on my credentials and then the app keep loading for ever and never complete or open. So i had to use the other app My Chevrolet app and that works fine and i can access my cars through it. so am wondering what is the issue i tried everything such as restarting my phone, close all apps and un-install "My GMC app" and re-install it and still same issue.MyChevy / MyGMC does not update Fuel, Trip, or Diagnostics
I have a 2019 Chevy Colorado with an active OnStar Remote Connection plan. Initially, everything worked perfectly, but two weeks ago, all diagnostics, fuel level, and trip data stopped updating. However, the map and remote functions continue to work without issue. Here are the troubleshooting steps I have taken so far: Updated my iPhone to the latest iOS version to ensure compatibility with the MyChevy app. Deleted and reinstalled the MyChevy app, but the issue persisted. Uninstalled the MyChevy app and installed the myGMC app (since I also have a GMC Acadia with the same OnStar plan) to test if the issue was app-specific, but the problem remained. Regularly drive the Colorado daily, so the vehicle should transmit data as expected. Confirmed the OnStar light is green on my mirror. Despite these efforts, the diagnostics, fuel, and trip data remain outdated. What other troubleshooting steps should I take?MyGMC App Nearly Useless on New Hummer
Such a disappointment. I traded my BMW x6 for a 2025 Hummer EV 3x. I never thought the App experience on an EV would be so poor. Nothing refreshes unless you log out/in. Went through an hour of troubleshooting with App Support, and after nothing worked they said “something must be going on with the system since a lot of people have been calling with the same complaint”. It looks like this problem has been happening for MANY owners for years. I can’t see when the car is charging, it’s progress, I can’t set a location, everything is painfully slow and it doesn’t matter if I wait days!! The manual refresh button doesn’t work and I have to walk out to the truck to see how it’s doing. The whole Google/Android interface is painfully slow in the vehicle. Doesn’t feel like a 100k+ experience and I’m having serious buyers remorse coming from BMW and Mercedes. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a GMC again when I’m done with this one.Remote climate control still missing
I have a 2025 Sierra Elevation. When I got it in April, remote temperature control was available in the app. Now it's gone. I have had a ticket 68838346 open with support since 6/17. After gathering information via email, I was told a support engineer would be in touch via phone. I have heard crickets since. I have followed up via email several times with no response. Can I get some help here please?Climate control from app
I have a 2025 GMC 1500 Sierra Denial Ultimate and I not sure why I can not control climate controls from my app, I have installed the app updated the app signed back in and still no climate controls on the phone , I have read on here that it was taking off when Google was put in the software but I also read on here that GM fixed that and now it works but I cannot see it on my app so not sure what Im not doing right or what's happening and suggestions? This feature worked for a very short time after I bought my GMC Sierra Denali and now only sporadically updates me on the vehicles location. My last truck was stolen at work and this feature is one of the deciding factors for my purchase. I've already gone through the usual uninstalling and re-installing the app and pairing the phone, etc. I added my wife as an additional contact to update the vehicles position, and low and behold, it updates her every time, just not me. I have a Galaxy Note 20 5G and she has an iPhone.
