How can I prepare for hurricane season?

There are a number of ways you can prepare for hurricane season, which typically begins in June and runs through November. Make sure you sign up to receive emergency weather alerts on your phone, prepare your property by reinforcing doors and windows and sealing any outside openings, locate nearby emergency shelters and, of course, make sure your insurance policies are up to date.
