connectivity issues
24 yukon Denali. had problems with Google not always connecting. several hours on phone with onstar to correct that. then no apps on rear screen. after waiting couple of weeks for escalated issues to be resolved. they got apps on rear screen but it says contact onstar for streaming plan. but I already have streaming plan. they called me again to do more resets. and now no apps on rear screen. they called me. again and said just take it to a dealer! what! this is no longer warranty and dealer will start changing parts. maps work and other Google work. but no apps and streaming on rear screen. There has got to be a way onstar can fix this! been going on to long!0likes1CommentSuperCruise dropping out on RT-81
I purchased a 2023 Yukon Denali and drove south on RT81 to RT66 to RT17 going from Syracuse NY to Fredericksburg VA. SuperCruise worked well until I got part way through Pennsylvania. Supercruise would drop out with the message "No road data" and then in a couple seconds allow SuperCruise to be re-engaged. This occurred more than 30 times and continued to drop out in West Virginia. Once I got on RT66 SuperCruise worked correctly for the remainder of the trip. I would note that 2 days earlier I drove from Fredericksburg to Syracuse with only a couple of drop outs (taking the same route).0likes3CommentsWi-Fi issues
this is the third HD2500 that I have owned and each vehicle has had very poor wi-fi service, to the point to where I would need to turn off my wifi on my phone just to get data. We are consistently in areas where AT&T has weak signals. So, I can only assume this is the culprit. When will we have the option to choose the cellular provider that works best in out area? Has anyone else experienced similar issues?0likes1Comment2025 Cadillac Lyriq OnStar Telematics issues
I see some threads on the OnStar telematics module issues. I have the samething for my 2025 Lyriq and I didn't realize it was busted for a few months (6 to be precise) before I headed out of town and wanted to use the charging locations on the map to realize it got all the information wrong. Visited the dealer since then and they told me it's back ordered and they really don't know when it's going to be available to replace. If the issues are so prevalent why is GM/OnStar not on top of this and fix the systemic issues with the module? Seems like there is no coordinated effort to fix this as this is affecting other line of vehicles too (Chevy, Denali and others). What can be done to fast track this? Regards.0likes1CommentDon't keep the service if its not working
I was not able to get all of the features to work that came with my plan. On star had trouble fixing the problem and they told me to wait until the problem was fixed and they would give me a credit for the time it was not working. 13 months later I'm told my radio on my 2019 Suburban was being decommissioned and they could not fix the problem. The agent cancelled my plan but never told me, I found it in an email later. As a courtesy On star refunded $11.99 but refused to refund the 13 months the service did not work and they were trying to fix it. The radio being decommissioned is apparently on an internal training memo.0likes1CommentOnstar is not working for months
I have 2025 chevy Blazer EV and my onstar and other connected feature is not working. I visited the dealer for service and they said telematics module needs to be replaced. it is within warranty time and mileage wise about 10000 miles. I have been waiting several months and it is a little frustration on such a like new vehicle. Is there any resolutions for this issue?0likes1CommentReal-time traffic on infotainment maps missing - '24 Escalade
Hi - I have a 2024 Escalade ESV V with traditional nav (not Google Built-In) that had real-time traffic capabilities when I purchased the vehicle new - December 2024. It would show color-coded traffic flows on the maps and reroute when navigating if there was a road closure or crash. That functionality ceased to function somewhere around the 6 month mark - certainly by October 2025. I have been trying to get the service back ever since. I think I have every OnStar subscription possible including those that profess to provide navigation and traffic. Does anyone know the service/source of traffic data on a '24 Escalade? Who is the provider? This is not a Google Built-In vehicle. HERE confirmed they provide the maps (SD card) but not real-time data. OnStar has flip flopped between suggesting I should be able to install an app - Maps+ (manufactured by MapBox) and mistakenly sharing Google Built-In reboot procedures. Maps+ is not rendered in my infotainment - I have used it in a 2026 loaner. The vehicle has been to the dealer twice for this issue, multiple OnStar cases and now a Cadillac Customer Care case. There is a lack of clarity around the source of the data and why it is not rendering on my vehicle. The dealer today told me I did not have a radio that supports traffic, only available in the highest trim levels. I have the highest trim available that year with the AKG Studio Reference infotainment system. FYI - the infotainment firmware is dated June 2023. Searching for OTA updates produces nothing. It occurred to me that the traffic was supplied by SiriusXM in the 360L trial - they have a nav and travel subscription which supplies traffic data. SiriusXM said my vehicle does not support their traffic service. This is driving me crazy. I need a technical expert. Thanks!0likes3Comments
