Infotainment System/Telematics went out and back ordered for 6+ months

Has anyone had any luck getting their OnStar features extended due to not being able to use them for an extended amount of time due to the infotainment system breaking (which is apparently extremely common) and being back ordered for many, many months?

I did all of 2025 and the dealer nor onstar was any help to me. I finally got it fixed after I think 8+ months but was unable to use the services until a couple months ago from last summer.
