2024 C8 owners lose out

So,

The 2020-2023 C8 owners got life time functioning navigation included with no additional subscription cost.  

The 2025 and newer owners get 8 years included OnStar basics including navigation.

Why is it that only the 2024 model year owners got such a minimalist three months of functioning Navigation?

I paid a lot of money to insure I had all the features included that were available on a new C8.

Is there any internal discussions at GM/OnStar about retroactively increasing the 2024 owners OnStar inclusions to better reflect what ALL OTHER C8 model year owners are getting from GM/OnStar?
