2024 C8 owners lose out
I purchased a 2024 Tahoe expecting that I would have OnStar features with my basic plan. The speed limit sign appeared on my dashboard until Jan 2026 and has now disappeared unless I purchase a data plan or upgraded plan, yet my 2026 Trailboss has this coverage included at no additional charge until 2033. Why OnStar are you punishing and discriminating against 2024 buyers?
Model Year 2025 and newer vehicles receive core OnStar features for 8 years, including automatic crash response, remote commands, center display audio apps, voice assistant and navigation. While certain plan features and options may differ for previous model years, our goal is always to provide members with a positive OnStar experience, @cafahey. Insight on future changes beyond this is not something we can share currently, though we take your feedback seriously.
