Telematics Module failure after ~6 months (7+weeks and no estimate date for replacement)

I bought a 2025 Equinox EV RS since late May and in late October the telematics module failed. I took it into the dealership on November 11th and was told it needed replacement and the part was back ordered it now has been over a month and no updates. I called the dealer a couple weeks ago and was basically told "don't call us, we'll call you" because they had no ETA. I know a lot of people are dealing with this and it is extremely frustrating. The car was brand new and I put a lot of miles on it weekly due to my commute. Not having the Nav system working is so frustrating and stresses me out, again in a brand new car you do not expect these sort of headaches. I'm in RI but the dealer is in Massachusetts anyone else in the area experiencing this sort of wait time 5+ weeks without any movement on the part and no ETA?

Telematics issues have been ongoing across GM models for years now. If GM gave a damn about its customers, they would have figured it out by now or at a minimum started producing enough parts to fix the issue that a huge number of its customers are having.  What's the point of even having a warranty when you have to wait months for GM to honor it?  As one of the many endlessly waiting for a car repair on an almost new car, I am extremely disappointed in GM and their inability to address and acknowledge this ongoing problem. GM really needs to do better if they value their customers and want repeat business.
