Recall/Class Action on Onstar Module ??
Check with your dealership my module finally came in and the dealership installed it the next day. Everything is finally working.

I have had this issue 2 months after I bought my vehicle June 23, 2022 weeks after my open heart surgery June 2, 2022 and I have attempted many times to get this repair and it’s May 12, 2025 and it’s still not fixed. My vehicle had a rear main oil seal leak they fixed it now they are telling me I have to wait for a hardware module for OnStar/Internet! We pay a lot of money for these vehicles and to not have ETA’s on repairs!! Not good GMC!!!

If you actually care, in any way, you wouldn't keep posting the same reply thousands of times and still not do anything. There are now tens of thousands across the US with cars designed around this Onstar module that are essentially unusable or unsafe. I would rather drive a Tesla than have to deal with this.

I have spoken to an onstar rep twice. The first told me he didn't know why my weather channel app was not working and would get back to me. Of course I never heard back. My second rep I spoke to was snotty and simply said the weather channel app had been discontinued and would not be back. No reason other than it was gone. My GMC Serria 2021 now has no weather channel app and I can't use the onstar app with the map and radar because they module needed had not been installed on any of the newer model GMC's. So here we are with even less than we started with. I bought my GMC for the apps and accessories. We either need the module needed to use the onstar app or return our weather channel app. It is the only way we can know of dangerous weather changes. People's lives could literally be at risk.
