OnStar Services, Navigation, and Automatic Time DO NOT WORK
My Vehicle - Used 2022 GMC 1500 Refreshed Elevation with X31 Package.
Let me just say, I love this truck. I had been looking for a new GMC truck and when I found this blacked-out Sierra, I could not resist.
I bought it on 2/14/25 with 70K miles. Most components were all out of warranty and I was ok with that. Last thing I thought to check was OnStar when looking over the vehicle and frankly, I am pissed that the dealer even sold me the truck with out disclosing the OnStar module is broken. Makes me think that this is why the truck was for sale.
Like so many other GMC customers on here, we are waiting for a fix that may never come or even worse, at our own personal expense.
This is NOT ok.
Has anyone pursued legal action? If GM and OnStar are not going to address this issue with a recall, I believe there are enough individuals affected, that a class action lawsuit is warranted.

My 2023 Tahoe I bought brand new the telemetric onstar module went out and the dealership made me pay for the part and I fully believe that it will never come in. My front camera hasn't worked since 1 month from buying the Tahoe. I am very displeased and I would love to pursue a lawsuit. Extended warranty doesn't cover it and Chevy knows this is a known problem
