OnStar Module Failure - software recall?

Respectfully, OnStar tried troubleshooting multiple times over the summer and suggested I go to the dealership. Hard to believe they didn't mention the Telematics module issue. I've already created a complaint with GM and will report back once it's resolved.

Very interested to hear the result of this. Mine has not worked for close to 5 months now and with tediously awful service dept. I will try Cadillac dealership next with the same labor rate and hopefully, even just slightly, better trained techs.
