OnStar Module Broke
I have a 2023 Yukon with 50,000 miles on it. I took it to the dealer to replace the brakes and while it was in the shop they said it was due for a system upgrade that was covered under warranty. A couple weeks after this service my OnStar and on board maps stopped working which then affects the heads up speed limit display. I called OnStar they told be the module wasn't working and i needed to take it to a dealer to get it looked at. Dealer wants $830 to replace the module! This is absolutely ridiculous, this part covers a safety feature and should be warranty. There is no way that in 2 years this should do bad. i have had several other GMC in my life and I have never had this happen before.
