Onstar in my brand new 2025 Chevrolet Traverse LT is not working even though the light is green.
Don’t expect Onstar to help you. Advisor Jack is no help. None of these advisors are. Don’t you know when you call them it’s someone in another country. Why should they care about your problems? My Onstar hasn’t worked since December. Needs a new module. Part on backorder and they expect you to pay for it! Onstar says they’ll help, they’ll ask you to give them all this information and tell you in the long run there’s nothing they can do so good luck! Nothing but runaround.
This issue is NATIONWIDE. There needs to be a recall.
The whole Onstar group needs a recall. My 2023 Silverado has issues. They say there is nothing wrong with my truck, or my account. They just can’t activate my service on my truck. They say it’s on their end. They say it’s going to be 3-5 days to resolve the issue. It was working, then they turned it off, and now they can’t turn it back on. That’s my two cents about Onstar. Kind of worthless. I’m using the hotspot on my phone just so I can use the services or apps in my radio. Ridiculous!
