Onstar in my brand new 2025 Chevrolet Traverse LT is not working even though the light is green.
This has happened to my 2025 Buick Enclave. There is some mass problem. They are going to have to order a new module after it being in the shop a week. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, brand new car..... But it is on back order from what I can tell "Forever". I need to see what the lemon laws are. At this point I'd like to just go buy another brand other than GMC. Maybe go back to a Jeep, the Uconnect never failed like this.

How do I send you a private message? This situation has caused us much grief. I bought the car for a long road trip with my son who is autistic, and felt we would have safety for him as if anything went wrong, he could just push the SOS button, and get help and not have to be able to know where his is. Now we have none of those features, and not even navigation and we leave for our trip in 3 days. I am beyond angry. This should not happen for a new car. I definitely made a mistake in my car purchase.

I’m trying to get a list of as many people as I can having the same problems. I talked to an attorney dealing with lemon laws and if we can get a group of people together I think we stand a better chance. The attorney told me we don’t have any fees that GM pays them in lawsuit. If your interested send me email at. mailto:tbeyer9607@yahoo.com please put in subject line GM Onstar problems. This way I don’t think it’s trash and discard the email. Let’s go after them 😡😡😡

You’re wasting your time. I been in contact with GM Buick cares. Got the run around. They said they was going to try to get things expedited and didn’t amount to crap. I been told it may be months before the Onstar telematics module comes in. This has effect at least 5 different models that I know of so far. Extremely upset with GM. We need to all contact the Attorney General offices in our states to file a complaint. Maybe they will put pressure on GM to truly expedite this problem for real. So many brand new vehicles bought and have this kind of service. Very sad indeed.

I guess you like private messages so other people don’t see how much the consumer is getting the run around
