On Star module broken
I have learned that many other owners of the same model 2023 Chevy Tahoe are experiencing similar issues, which raises concerns about a potential widespread problem.
I attempted to resolve these issues with OnStar, but despite their troubleshooting efforts, they were unable to restore functionality. I was advised to visit my local Chevy dealership for further assistance. However, when I did so, I was informed that I would be responsible for all related costs since my vehicle had exceeded the 40,000-mile mark and was therefore out of warranty.
This is particularly disheartening, as I believe that the issues I am facing with the OnStar system and other components should not be contingent solely on mileage. The functionality of safety and connectivity features like OnStar is crucial, and I feel it should be addressed without being tied to the vehicle’s mileage, especially given that these problems arose well before reaching the mileage threshold.
I am extremely disappointed with the response from the dealership and the lack of support regarding this matter. I urge GM to consider a broader resolution for customers experiencing similar issues with their vehicles. I hope that you take this feedback seriously and look into potential solutions for customers affected by this ongoing problem.
