class action lawsuit OnStar module backorder
My OnStar recently went out as well, and I'm trying to avoid another trip to the dealership for a fix! This seemed to happen around the same time as I got the recent software recall fix -- what I don't get is why GMC is not taking more responsibility for that and offering a clean fix.

I am owner of Chevy Equinox 2025 and your onstar telemaric module is malfunctioning cause to drain my battery making the vechile not drivable so there is no part available or ETA. This is really bad for Onstar that they have not come up with a solution and law suites are necessary as this would put them out of business. No resolution to this I will make sure to never buy any vechile or product that has Onstar. I want a resolution from Onstar and I will further my interests in a class action lawsuit.

That happened to mine too! I had to buy a BRAND NEW BATTERY. Listen Onstar will say they will help you but they won’t. I spoke to a LIVE rep at We Are Listening GM Customer Satisfaction division for months about my issues with the module, and then my ONSTAR module fully failed after a reprogramming of another module… I’ve had GM all my life. This is the first vehicle that I had chips missing when I bought it… This vehicle purchase has been a nightmare for me since day 1. ONSTAR is a PRODUCT of GM and we need to hold GM and ONSTAR accountable for their product. This is a NATIONWIDE issue not just some isolated events… They need to issue a RECALL. We need to round up and UNITED is the only way this will change. Onstar will not help you. I tried and they couldn’t do anything. Gave me the runaround talking to them privately asking for quotes from the dealership to finally tell me what I should’ve known all along is that they were NOT going to help.
They need to STOP saying they can help people and DO SOMETHING about it. Push for a NATIONWIDE RECALL!
