This may not be new, but is new to my Wife and I. Our 2025 Xt4, owned for 6 months now with no issue with onstar remote start, now is requiring a verification code every time to start the vehicle . For use older people this is very cumbersome to navigate to the email or text. I do understand for some people this very easy. So we now have a remote start system that we can not really use. This seems unfair to people who are not that tech savvy. Plus we had no notification of the verification code change, or any instructions how we might manage this. Sorry to say but not to impressed.
