Wrong OnStar account in car!

I got my car a few months back, and I still cannot get the OnStar account working.

It shows the previous owner's account info. It lists what I'm guessing is their phone number, no active plan, etc.

I've called OnStar a few times, trying to get set up. I provided my info, got a confirmation email, gave them my credit card info (for when the complimentary service ends), etc.

I'm going on a trip and want to use the WiFi hotspot. When I try to enable it, it tells me that I need an active plan. But I do have one. Going to OnStar -> Account shows the wrong information. When I contacted OnStar, they said they'd do a "remote reset". They had me turn the car on and off, leave the driver's side door open, etc. The computer still shows the wrong OnStar account.

I tried leaving the car battery disconnected for over an hour. When I turned the car back on, the computer was reset to 12:00, but after a few minutes it seemed to download the wrong OnStar account info again.

What are my options here? How do I reset the computer and get my OnStar account into it?
