Telematics module
Just took my 2023 suburban in to have some recall work done. I asked them to check my WiFi and onstar connections that haven’t worked for weeks. They called and said my telematics module is defective and it would be over $600 to replace. When and if they can get a module in because of back orders. Then informed me recall work cannot be completed until I replace module. Sooo, I have to pay to replace a defective module so that necessary recall work can be done. Make it make sense. I quick online search shows a massive amount of these defective modules going out, causing a shortage, and no recall in sight.
