OnStar Module Replaced, Now I Need a Data Plan?!

I have a 2025 Equinox EV -- here is what has happened. 

Current Situation:
- Telematics Module replaced on 12/15
- GPS now works again, as well as the app communicating to the car (charging info, etc.)
- ANYTHING that requires data (navigation, Apple Music) tells me I need an upgraded OnStar Sub (which I know I do not)
- OnStar says while I have OnStar Basics to use any of the features (Nav) I also need a data plan, which they can sell me. (Which insane logic)

What I've done thus far:
- Escalated to "level 2" OnStar Support, have a case number... supposed to hear something in a day or 2 (I don't believe that for a second)
- Emailed Executive Resolution Team - have a case number there too 
- Emailed Sterling Anderson the Chief Product Officer. Because I felt like complaint to someone c-level!
- Emailed the dealer as well. 

This is INSANE. Let's play along with OnStar's logic. Even if I wanted to buy a data plan (which I don't) -- the ONLY thing available to me to add on is the "Protect" plan. I can't even get data if I wanted it. 

The OnStar rep I talked to on chat on this website was incredibly rude and treated like I was a moron.
