If only I had seen this OnStar stuff a month ago

Two months ago I bought a 2025 Equinox.  Could not get the OnStar to connect right out of the chute! Probably a benefit because now I do not have an OnStar account  or bill.  This seems like hidden gold for Chevrolet for those who have OnStar accounts for older vehicles. If it isn't settled soon, I will be looking for a class action effort to buy back a lemon.
And before you tell me to stay in touch with my dealer and then ignore any posting of possible time frames for a fix, GM, I am in touch - called them today with no meaningful response, again, just check back with us. Are there no engineers that can give a reasonable response to your customer problems? Or are you all a bunch of desk jockeys paid to deflect the complaints of angry customers who wasted money on a product that is DOA? Stop telling us to "suck it up, buttercup" and become a real auto manufacturer.
