GPS Not Working / OnStar Not Working / No 5G Signal

I purchased my Chevrolet Equinox EV only five months ago.
At first, I was genuinely attracted by its beautiful exterior design and chose to support an American brand.
However, after just five months of ownership, the vehicle’s GPS navigation completely stopped working.
What makes this situation even more frustrating and unacceptable is that OnStar is also not working at all.
Just recently, I paid $199 for an OnStar subscription, and yet I am unable to use the service even for a single day, while the fee has already been charged. This is extremely disappointing.
I understand that this is not an isolated case, and that many other Equinox EV owners are experiencing the same issue with GPS, OnStar, and 5G connectivity failures. This appears to be a widespread problem, not a user error.
What concerns me most is that GM does not seem to be treating this issue with the urgency it deserves.
This is not just an inconvenience —
this is a serious safety issue.
OnStar is supposed to provide:
Emergency assistance
Vehicle location services
Safety and connectivity support
When these systems fail, the vehicle cannot provide the level of safety it was designed and advertised to offer, and this puts drivers and passengers at risk.
I chose to support American-made vehicles, but right now it feels like I have been let down.
A product that fails to deliver core safety and connectivity functions should not be ignored or delayed in repair.
I respectfully ask GM and OnStar to:
Acknowledge this issue as a systemic problem
Provide a clear repair plan and timeline
Refund OnStar charges for services that cannot be used
Treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves
Safety should never be optional.
