5 OnStar Modules

I bought a 2024 Chevy Equinox brand new. Since then 10 visits to the dealership service department for non working OnStar modules. It has been replaced FIVE times and never have they worked.

Can it be swapped out for another system? Anything would be better than this piece of crap.

    You have a lemon.

after 3 times of the same issue not being resolved they have to buy it back.

im looking into it right now in Florida. Idk what the lemon laws are in your state but 100% sounds like a lemon.

GM needs to get their **bleep** together.

      100% a lemon.

Any GM vehicle with OnStar is a lemon.

I was told by the dealership that GM isn't making any new modules, that they're only using "remanufactured" modules. So basically, they're just replacing nonworking modules with used nonworking modules.

      Are you serious?

I have talked to the cabbage heads at OnStar (tech support, but not really tech support, apparently), Executive Relations, the dealership (more times than I can count) and Customer Assistance. So what do YOU plan on doing? Tell me to take it to the dealership AGAIN?

At one point, I called OnStar more than 100 documented times over a one-week period. 100.

And there is also the matter of them using a credit card I had REMOVED from my account and replaced to make unauthorized charges. So there's the whole fraud thing.

My latest communication has been with the Offices of Attorney General in Michigan and Virginia because the more people who complain and document their issues with your **bleep**ty, non-existent product, the better.  You people knew these modules didn't work when I bought the vehicle and there was no recall and the dealership didn't say **bleep**.

And what's the most you people have done so far, oh, wait, give me free service for a product that literally has no service.

I can't think of a more unethical company.  Take your scripted concern and stuff it up your GM-manufactured tailpipe.
