23 Sierra AT4
I believe my OnStar module is out. Strange thing though, it didn't seem like everything stopped working all at once. About a month ago, I noticed I wasn't able to start/lock/unlock the vehicle through the app, and it wasn't updating the vehicle information like gas/oil life, etc. Then it was maps and the compass. Now nothing works, including the OnStar button. I was in for a recall earlier this year that had something to do with the telematics module - does that ring a bell for anyone else? Are these issues connected?

I spoke with a service advisor who agreed that it is likely the module. I don't have time to bring the truck in to get it diagnosed and told it will cost me $800 to repair. I'm not buying it. I'll wait for the recall.
Silly that even the compass needs OnStar to function properly.

I should add that all this happened JUUUUUST after the 36k bumper to bumper warranty expired..
