2025 equinox ev- OnStar Telematics module - no dates for backorder part is unacceptable
I recently bought equinox ev 2025. In 5th month of use, telematics system stopped working. Dealership mentioned that part is nationwide back ordered with no estimated date. And i saw on many portals where same issue has raised by many car owners. Is this normal to have this part back ordered with no estimated date. And if GM knows the problem with this part, why are they selling such cars. Is there a way to raise this concern with any federal department?

We do regret to hear of any concerns with your new vehicle. To clarify, is your Equinox currently located at your certified Chevrolet dealership? They are in the best position to provide you with any available updates on parts. While our social care team does not have the ability to expedite parts, we can provide you with an additional layer of support throughout the repair process. We will keep an eye out for your reply in the meantime.

Helen how about GM Chevrolet just be honest fix the issue and no excuse. This is legal issue in the making as it seems to a national problem. Do you want fo know other countries aren't buying US vehicles because they have gone back to being not reliable. Poor technology and horrible service. Lemon Law is real!!!!
