On Star APP permissions
I am trying to complete the On Star App on my Samsung Phone and can't. I have a red X on the Location and Battery Optimization portion.
If you're attempting to use the OnStar Guardian App, please know that you must have an Android device with an operating system of Android 6.0 or higher and your mobile device must be equipped with a gyroscope and magnetometer. If your device meets these qualifications and you continue to have trouble, you can reach us at socialmedia@gm.com and we ask that you have your subject line as ‘ATTN: OnStar Community/Lynne’ so we can reference back to this post.
