Why won't onstar cancel my data service>

I have been trying for 7 months to cancel the data/wifi service.  Every month they tell me it has been canceled and they are sending me a refund, but yet the charges keep coming.  Now they have finally stopped the service but no refund and the monthly charges keep coming.

I would recommend that if you do not want the service FOREVER don't sign up for even the trial, once they have your card you are stuck.

  • I am having a similar issue. Onstar told me via chat that my wifi at&t plan was cancelled, yet I was charged the day prior to this. I then paid for a full year of a newer plan that includes wifi yet I was not refunded for the $15 that I just paid. I also am not convinced that my existing plan is actually cancelled and I fear I will be charged again next month. I sent an email to socialmedia@gm.com

Your not stuck. Contact your CC company and cancel your service with them. Last resort order a new card problem solved. Until you give onstar the new card info then you can pick what you want.
