Why can’t the OnStar modules be reprogrammed at the dealership?
It seems that the go to fix at the GMC dealer for my 2025 ACADIA is swap modules. My limited research indicates the modules aren’t defective or dead, but just stuck in logic loops. Waiting months for a module when the part can be rehabilitated is wasteful and hurting customer goodwill. Even though it might be the easy thing it’s not smart.
