Alexa app / My Chevrolet Skill and GM account link issue.
My Chevrolet Skill on the Alexa App (Compatible Phone Samsung S24 Ultra) will not stay linked to my GM account.
I will be able to use the Alexa My Chevrolet Skill for only and few minutes then I am prompted to re link accounts.
Vehicle: 2024 Chevrolet Traverse RS with OnStar active.

Yep, same thing is happening to me too. Stays connected for about an hour then it unlinks. Very frustrating.
Chevy says its on OnStar's end.

No, there's only one Amazon account.

I'm having the same issue where I need to re-link the myChevrolet app skill to Alexa multiple times a day. This feature worked well for several months before the last couple of weeks. I was easily able to start the climate control/unlock doors of my Bolt EUV, but this has been frustrating that I have to repeatedly re-link in hopes that it will stay linked. Please advise.

I'm experiencing this as well. It's a pain, the remote start was really the only reason I wanted to pay for OnStar, and now it's broken. I've been hoping they would fix this, but it's been a month now with still no resolution

I haven't noticed if anyone got this issue fixed or not. I am having the same issue with my new 2024 Buick Envision. Has anyone had their issue fixed?

We do appreciate your comment. To further clarify, does anyone else in your household have the Amazon Alexa app with the same myChevrolet skill enabled and linked to your OnStar account? Please know, OnStar does not support multiple Amazon accounts linked to the same myChevrolet skill. For example, if two people in the same household have different Amazon accounts but share a car, they can’t use both accounts. With this, if you are the only account linked and are still having trouble, kindly let us know moving forward.

Also, we used to have our Chevy Silverado with OnStar. But when OnStar quit supporting G3 we canceled it. Now with MyBuick we have a new account with a different password. I'm wondering if that's what's causing the issue?

I just tried relinking (October 17, 2024) my mychevrolet account with ALEXA……same issue that has been occurring since I first tried it in June 2024……will not stay linked to my account and repeatedly asks for me to reconnect with my account rendering the skill useless.

Our team understands how this Alexa Skill concern has been frustrating. Please know, OnStar will be discontinuing the vehicle mobile apps Skill feature for Amazon Alexa supported devices on October 31, 2024. Our goal is to provide our Members access to OnStar, wherever they are. We found that our Members prefer to use remote commands in their vehicle mobile apps. In response, we have decided to end the myBrand skill for Alexa. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but do know if you have any further questions we are just an email away. You may email us at socialmedia@gm.com with ATTN: OnStar Community/ColoradoZR2 in the subject headline.

it looks like the way they solve the Alexas skill issues was to remove it?
