23 GMC Sierra Onstar Module - FRUSTRATED
I have a 2023 GMC Sierra that has had issues with the service engine light since I drove it off the lot. Finally, was able to get it to the dealership and they determined that the OnStar module needs to be replaced. HOWEVER, the module is on backorder. NOW OnStar does not work at all which means no remote start or any services I pay for. There is no estimated delivery time for this back-ordered item. What are my options besides being extremely upset and frustrated?

Yup all the same across the whole internet.. Mine just stopped working the other day 23' Sierra AT4.. Glad i could wifi hotspot my phone cuz my kids were losing their minds lol. Dealer has the same response as everyone else. "has been backordered a month already and we dont know when they will be available". what a **bleep** shame. Have an appt for them to log it in the system so i get myself in line for the repair when it finally becomes available.
i LOVE my truck and its more a convenience thing for me but seriously its a safety issue now too since it links with all the systems

Same issue on my 22 gmc Sierra with 37k on it. Wifi is useless with no idea when it'll be fixed for $750. Theres also a recall that cannot be done without the Onstar module being replaced first. I had to have the truck jump started the other morning, completely dead, couldn't even unlock the doors remotely. I think it's linked to the module
Been reading online that this issues seems to be blowing up across all models, I've reported to the Nhtsb
