Tracking/location incorrect all the time. 4 phones
The app use to work fine. We have it installed on 4 different phones. Before anyone starts with the basic troubleshooting I have been looking at this for months. Apps have been uninstalled/reinstalled, on all phones, location permissions triple checked, again on all phones. Do not allow the phone to close the app when not in use, on all phones. I no longer get any alerts when members enter or leave a geo fence zone. I have multiple setup. Since I'm a member of emergency services, it's very helpful for my family to know where I am and not answering my phone because of an incident I have responded to. So, OnStar. Please explain this, I have seen multiple threads on this on various sites and have not gotten a satisfactory answer. I'm paying for this service and it's clearly no longer doing what it use to do. My guess is that OnStar has somehow depreciated the location feature for one reason or another.Complete scam
So I bought a new to me 2024 GMC Sierra HD Ultimate. It was original sold with 3 years of connected service (I have the window sticker) Called Onstar yesterday to register it to me. The rep gave me a year of the premium plan. Sweet! Not so fast. Everything worked for about 2 hours. I called in today to see what gives and the rep tells me they did away with the old plan that I have just been given a year of, and if I want connectivity it's 57 bucks a month! wtf?! So GM charged the original owner at purchase. And then under the guise of a "new plan" they want to scheme me for 57 bucks a month. On a truck with 100k+ msrp no less. I signed up for a first month free trial of Onstar Guardian on Oct 25th and two days later I received a notification from the app saying, "Your OnStar Guardian subscription has expired. Your services have been deactivated, and you and your group members have been signed out of the app." I don't know what happened but I assumed my subscription was canceled until a few days ago when my card was charged $16.20 by Onstar. I called an Onstar advisor to inquire about this and he searched my name, phone number, and email and found no account. How can I cancel Onstar Guardian when there's no record of me having an account? Is it possible to get a refund for this charge since my subscription "expired" several weeks ago?Incorrect location what is going on here no one from onstar is able to help!
For the past week now mobile app on my phone and my husbands phone are not working. Locations full accessibility etc. Now it worked fine last week My husband is at work and its showing him in the drive way. Come on what are we paying for seriously. I have installed reinstalled and still the same garbage.Mobile APP does not work
My mobile app seems to randomly not connect, server unavailable, slow connecting, and most recently - remote start unavailable for the last couple of weeks straight. I deleted the app and reinstalled without success. I have also manually started the vehicle, driven it to ensure the battery is charged and temperatures are normal. Nothing has worked. How do I fix this issue because it is super frustrating to have a 2024 vehicle without decent app connectivity.
