Don't keep the service if its not working
I was not able to get all of the features to work that came with my plan. On star had trouble fixing the problem and they told me to wait until the problem was fixed and they would give me a credit for the time it was not working. 13 months later I'm told my radio on my 2019 Suburban was being decommissioned and they could not fix the problem. The agent cancelled my plan but never told me, I found it in an email later. As a courtesy On star refunded $11.99 but refused to refund the 13 months the service did not work and they were trying to fix it. I have 2025 chevy Blazer EV and my onstar and other connected feature is not working. I visited the dealer for service and they said telematics module needs to be replaced. it is within warranty time and mileage wise about 10000 miles. I have been waiting several months and it is a little frustration on such a like new vehicle. Hi - I have a 2024 Escalade ESV V with traditional nav (not Google Built-In) that had real-time traffic capabilities when I purchased the vehicle new - December 2024. It would show color-coded traffic flows on the maps and reroute when navigating if there was a road closure or crash. That functionality ceased to function somewhere around the 6 month mark - certainly by October 2025. I have been trying to get the service back ever since. I think I have every OnStar subscription possible including those that profess to provide navigation and traffic. Does anyone know the service/source of traffic data on a '24 Escalade? Who is the provider? This is not a Google Built-In vehicle. HERE confirmed they provide the maps (SD card) but not real-time data. OnStar has flip flopped between suggesting I should be able to install an app - Maps+ (manufactured by MapBox) and mistakenly sharing Google Built-In reboot procedures. Maps+ is not rendered in my infotainment - I have used it in a 2026 loaner. The vehicle has been to the dealer twice for this issue, multiple OnStar cases and now a Cadillac Customer Care case. There is a lack of clarity around the source of the data and why it is not rendering on my vehicle. The dealer today told me I did not have a radio that supports traffic, only available in the highest trim levels. I have the highest trim available that year with the AKG Studio Reference infotainment system. FYI - the infotainment firmware is dated June 2023. Searching for OTA updates produces nothing. It occurred to me that the traffic was supplied by SiriusXM in the 360L trial - they have a nav and travel subscription which supplies traffic data. Is the three year premium on the sticker transferable?
I recently purchased a 2025 Silverado RST max range that had 139 miles on it and it was sold as used from the dealership. The dealership stated post purchase it wasn’t included, onstar reps told me the dealership had to start it, the only thing they started was the 8 year basic plan, that was also in the original sticker and the start date was 3/16/26. It was shipped from Kentucky to Wa state where it arrived needing a refrigerant replacement valve so it was out of commission for two weeks as soon as I got it. The auto check report also shows the only event is the dealership putting it up for sale, which leads me to believe this was most likely a demo and I am the first retail owner. I have spoken to a couple reps and they have both told me they would escalate this and to expect a phone call, but I have not received a call back in weeks. I emailed the monroney label and the auto check report, but have not received a response. The trial is about end and I just feel like I am being ignored on this. The website states these plans are transferred to the new owners so I am confused on what’s going on and what to do. Greetings. I work in an environment where I cannot have my cellphone with me at work, it must stay in the car. I also work in a very hot and humid climate. My new to me 24 Colorado has the Alexa built in with the standard google. Is there a way to use an Alexa routine or Google Assistant process to remotely start the truck every weeday at 4:30pm? I purchased a used 2025 Hummer EV SUV. I was told that the remaining time of OnStar One would transfer from the original owner. A couple of representatives have confirmed this, and every time I call, they say they are working on it and extend a trial for 30 more days. I was told numerous times that a representative would call me back. They never do. I asked for a supervisor, and never get one. I am currently on hold with a representative named Jalia. They have no respect for how much time this is taking. I purchased a 2025 GMC Acadia recently. One of the main reasons for purchasing was the Super Cruise feature. After signing all the paperwork, we tried to setup Onstar and found it not working. The dealership tried to troubleshoot but wasn't able to repair. I live 2 hrs away from the dealer and had to leave. When I got home I set up an appt at my local dealer, only for them to tell me the part is on national backorder and didn't even look at the car. I made another appt for April 14th but I'm starting to lose hope in this situation. Is there anyone who can help expedite this? No one should ever be able to purchase a new or slight used vehicle that isn't ready to go to work.
