My vehicle status, i.e. tire pressure, fuel level, miles, trip info, etc., has not updated in over 3 weeks. I've deleted/reinstalled the app, had a new signal sent, all of the things I've been recommended to try. None of these have worked. Question/Issues about the myChevrolet app. 1. Where is the complete documentation for the myChevrolet app? ie. Describes, in detail, all screens and functions Question and Issues with the current version (Version 6.6.1 (4170). 1. "View More > Vehicle Settings" With the latest update, the "Vehicle Settings" has been added for our 2019 Equinox. It has "Driver" and "Climate" icons added. When I select either of them, I get a message "We're having trouble loading you Driver settings. Please wait and try again later." I have tried many times, and it still doesn't work. 2. Since updating to the latest version, our Equinox "Vehicle Status" is not updating. Also in "Vehicle Status" "Oil Life" shows "--%" as it is not showing any data in the circle chart. Also, "Fuel Efficiency" is showing "0MPG". Note: This was working prior to the latest update. 3. "More > WiFi Hotspot" is not updating properly for our 2019 Equinox. Show "SSID" "--" and "Password" "..". Again, this worked prior to the latest update. Note: I have Uninstalled and Reinstalled the myChevrolet app about 4 or 5 times in the last week and still have the same issues/problems. Also, when Uninstalling and Reinstalling the app, is there a recommended procedure? ie. In the App properties, shoud I "Force stop", "Storage > Clear cache" and "Clear data", before I Unistall? Your help would be much appreciated. Loren Schoepke4.7KViews0likes2CommentsGM removes Alexa remote commands from my Chevrolet
I’m saddened to see removing of this remote command, especially when we are payin a subscription fee to use this feature as it is. Now we’re paying and not getting it. Wow well thanks for the heads Chevy. I was informed when I asked Alexa today and she said I’m sorry my Chevrolet skill is no longer available. Just like that something many used it just deleted no longer a car feature? . Hmmm. Disappointing2.9KViews5likes7CommentsEV features removed from app
I have a 2015 Volt and myChevrolet app no longer shows EV detail on the app. This includes charging status, range, charging options, etc. Also, the "vehicle status" detail that is shown is from 16 months ago (Dec 2023). All of this functionality worked fine a few days ago. I loaded and reloaded the app on multiple devices and they are all the same.2KViews3likes42CommentsClimate control removed from app?!
When i purchased my truck a few weeks ago (2025 Silverado 1500 RST) I was able to set my climate temperature remotely from the app but it disappeared within the last week and there seems to be no resolution? I have followed the troubleshooting steps of uninstalling and reinstalling the app logging out, logging back in resetting the infotainment head unit. Everything else seems to be working as it should except that feature now instead of showing the option to set temperature. It just shows me a timer until my truck shuts off after remote starting.1.6KViews1like20CommentsMy Chevrolet App not refreshing vehicle status
Just took home a EV Equinox 2024, dealer showed me how you can check charging status with APP (fantastic idea!), however it doesn’t refresh. I’ve tried holding it and tapping went over 24 hours and it never refreshes. I’ve in installed and re installed. The only way I can get it to re-sync to the vehicle is to sign out and sign back it- but that can’t be right I never signed out with my Silverado. I dont want to have to walk out to the car to check the charge, Please help!1.6KViews0likes3CommentsMissing Remote Climate Control Feature in GM Vehicles with Google Built-In
I recently purchased a 25 Chevy Equinox. However, I was surprised to find that the remote climate control feature—specifically the ability to set the interior temperature from the mobile app before starting the car—is no longer available. After contacting an OnStar advisor, I was informed that this feature has been removed for GM vehicles with Google Built-In. This is a handy feature, especially in extreme weather conditions, and was one of the reasons I purchased a GM vehicle. This change has negatively impacted the overall convenience and functionality of the app experience for me.Solved1.4KViews2likes6CommentsMyChevy / MyGMC does not update Fuel, Trip, or Diagnostics
I have a 2019 Chevy Colorado with an active OnStar Remote Connection plan. Initially, everything worked perfectly, but two weeks ago, all diagnostics, fuel level, and trip data stopped updating. However, the map and remote functions continue to work without issue. Here are the troubleshooting steps I have taken so far: Updated my iPhone to the latest iOS version to ensure compatibility with the MyChevy app. Deleted and reinstalled the MyChevy app, but the issue persisted. Uninstalled the MyChevy app and installed the myGMC app (since I also have a GMC Acadia with the same OnStar plan) to test if the issue was app-specific, but the problem remained. Regularly drive the Colorado daily, so the vehicle should transmit data as expected. Confirmed the OnStar light is green on my mirror. Despite these efforts, the diagnostics, fuel, and trip data remain outdated. What other troubleshooting steps should I take?999Views2likes9Comments
